We collect the following data when you use the Platform:

2.1 Registration data

• First name, last name, email address
• Password (stored encrypted — not accessible by our teams)
• Account type (Individual or Professional)
• City and department
• Profile photo (optional)

2.2 Professional profile data

• Company name, SIRET number, business sector, trade
• Description of services, rates, service areas
• Portfolio, certifications
• Spoken languages

2.3 Activity data

• Published needs and responses received
• Reviews given and received
• Messages exchanged via private messaging
• Interactions in the forum and the blog
• Matching score and calculated affinities

2.4 Technical data

• IP address, browser type and version
• Pages visited, session duration (via technical cookies)
• Date and time of the last connection

Article 3 — Purposes and legal bases

Article 4 — Retention period

• Account data: kept for the entire duration of the account's activity, then deleted instantly when the account is closed.
• Needs, reviews and messages: deleted with the account.
• Connection data (logs): kept for 12 months in accordance with the regulations.
• Any billing data: 10 years in application of accounting obligations.

Article 5 — Data sharing

Your data is never sold to third parties. It may be shared in the following cases:

• With other Users: your public profile information (first name, city, trade, reviews) is visible to other members according to the privacy settings you choose.
• With our technical subcontractors: hosting, sending transactional emails — bound by GDPR-compliant processing contracts.
• Upon judicial request: in the event of a legal obligation or a request from the competent authorities.

Article 6 — Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
• Right of rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data — available directly from your account settings (instant deletion).
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
• Right to restriction: request the temporary suspension of processing.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on it.

Article 7 — Security

• Data access restricted to authorized personnel only
• Logging of administrator access

Article 8 — Transfers outside the EU

Your data is hosted in France. We do not carry out any data transfer outside the European Union.

Child safety and CSAE

BusinessAffinity.fr explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The published child safety standards are available at businessaffinity.fr/securite-des-enfants.

Article 9 — Policy modifications

We may update this policy. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed by email or by a notice visible on the Platform. The update date appears at the top of this document.
